The Body matrix
Weekendworkshop Open floor movement with Nele Vandezande & Kurt Pattyn
Dr. James Oshman calls the extracellular matrix “the living matrix”. He says that the living matrix is a continuous and dynamic “supermolecular” network that extends to every corner of the entire body: when you touch a human being, you make contact with an intimate connected system that is composed of all cells of the body.
Our fascia can be considered an organ that forms the entire body and that, apart from maintaining connection, can store information and communicate throughout the entire body.
In this workshop we explore the powers of our matrix through movement and take a look at the information stored in it and how we can restore connection within and around our body.
